Show Bio

Peter Siringano Jr. Hanshi, Was born in Staten Island, New York he began training under his father, the late Hanshi Pete Siringano Sr. in 1961. Receiving no favoritism, he came up through the ranks often having to train with adults. During this period, he attended and participated in many tournaments and demonstrations, always at his father's side. One high point was when in 1967 he met the late Bruce Lee at S. Henry Cho's tournament at the old Madison Square Garden. He continued training in both Goshindo Kempo Karate & Samurai Jiu Jitsu and was awarded the rank of Shodan in 1973. In 1975 he was featured along with his Father in the film The Superweapon.  He later wrote, produced and was featured in The Karate Dojo (1977) and Way Of The Samurai (1983). Both films also featured his Father. In 1988 he hosted a tournament honoring Hanshi Siringano Sr.'s recovery from congestive heart failure and a temporary stroke. That same year, he authored the first comprehensive Training Manual for students at the Hombu Dojo and Branch Dojos.
